Werner & Mertz GmbH already had an independently developed raw material and recipe evaluation system for its products. In close cooperation with our partner EPEA Switzerland and the applied Cradle to Cradle® design principle, the products were further optimized.

“Our Frosch brand, an eco-pioneer for over 30 years, is once again a pioneer in sustainability,” explained Reinhard Schneider, managing director of the family-owned company Werner & Mertz. For the consumer brand Frosch, these are lighthouse projects that have been certified together with EPEA Switzerland, while the B2B brand green care Professional has validated entire product series according to Cradle to Cradle.

“We are very proud to achieve this excellent result after the very demanding path through the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ process. Our own high standards for ourselves and our products are thus confirmed by an independent institute,” says Schneider.
