The company has gone to great lengths to develop pens that are made largely from recycled plastic. The STABILO GreenPoint is made from 87% recycled material and was the first pen in its class worldwide to be Cradle to Cradle Certified™. In addition, the production plant in Weissenburg, Germany, is powered by 100% renewable electricity. The new cube building at STABILO headquarters in Heroldsberg, Germany, is also geared towards sustainability. The integrated data center is cooled with fresh air and geothermal energy, and the resulting waste heat is used to heat the administration building.
